Take end to end ownership of business projects and product features.

Role & Level: Analyst/Associate - Strategy

About The Role:

We are looking for a strategic, quantitative, process and detail-oriented business individual to join the Strategy team. It would be a mix of Strategy and Program Management roles and would be reporting to the Head of the Strategy team. You will be working with senior management and stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage business processes, systems, reports, and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives. You would be undertaking new initiatives, do research and generate insights for business growth opportunities etc. For further details, please refer to the “Key Responsibilities” section.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Strategy and Business heads for planning, translation of the strategic plan into the annual plan and hands-on execution of specific projects. Draft and iterate short- and long-term strategy proposals for the business unit in collaboration with the Strategy head
• Executing short-term strategy, key business goals and initiatives, and performance managing the business. Take ownership of the delivery of new/existing requirements by working alongside tech, product and operation teams. Directly support defining and program management of strategy (through problem-solving, planning/coordination, project management) on critical business goals.
• Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives and drive alignment with cross-functional teams across the organization by developing detailed project plans with activity-based milestones
• Work with core business team members to streamline business and operation processes & define required product features for new/existing initiatives
• Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth and provide key insights for business leaders to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate on the design, development, maintenance, and delivery of models, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions for Unicommerce. 

Requirements

• 1-4 yrs. of total work experience in management consulting/Strategy/Founder’s office roles in Internet/FinTech domain, Consulting Firms etc. Technology/SaaS companies experience is a plus.
• Tier 1 engineering college undergraduate degree 
• Ability to think quantitatively and qualitatively about business problems and come up with solutions
• Strong research and analytical skills. Explorer - the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role. A self-starter attitude is a must
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational), experience explaining concepts to audiences
• Enjoy the challenge to thrive in a complex, ambiguous environment by driving results through effective structuring, communication and simplicity
• Proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
• Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills and comfortable with managing large data sets
